Kenya Highlights Safari
Duration: 7 days / 6 nights.
Highlights: Amboseli, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, Hells Gate & Maasai Mara.

Day 1 - Arrival / Tsavo West.
1300hrs, Pick up from your Mombasa hotel / Mombasa airport or residence.
Proceed to the Tsavo West National park along the Mombasa - Nairobi road.
Enter the Tsavo West in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Ngulia Safari Lodge - 
Meals HB: Lunch & Dinner.
Distance: Mombasa – Tsavo west: 250 km / 5 hours.

Day 2 - Tsavo West / Amboseli.
The early bird catches the worm!"
We test this old saying by embarking on an early morning game spotting and scenery viewing drive at the Tsavo west National Park.
The african sunrise, the freshness and beauty of the wild together with the animal sightings shall be the highlights of our morning.
We shall spectate as the browsers and predators move about  unperturbed by the human presence.
We shall head to the Mzima Springs where we view hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish and a variety of bird species.
The greenery surrounding the springs is a welcome contrast to the arid terrain that forms the bulk of the Tsavo West.
The 100 kms drive to the Amboseli national park shall be through wild country.
We arrive at our Amboseli in for lunch.
We shall relax and  while it away  until the  late afternoon when we set out to explore the Amboseli  national park on a game viewing drive.
Game viewing will be a leisurely activity with animals easily seen and with the bulk of Mount Kilimanjaro providing the back-drop for photography.
Clouds may open up and the sight of of the snow peaked mount  Kilimanjaro will leave us mesmerized.

Overnight: Kibo Safari Camp -
Meals FB: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Distance: Tsavo west - Amboseli: 100 km / 1 hour.

Day 3 – Amboseli / Aberdares.
Breakfast depart and game drive enroute affording majestic views of Kilimanjaro weather permitting. Afterwards depart for Aberdares via Nairobi and drive north past the lush pineapple, coffee and tea plantation in Kenya's reach highland. Picnic lunch boxes on the way. You will arrive in the evening and transfer to Ark lodge for the night stay with small overnight bags while the rest of baggage is left at the base hotel. The decks and balconies at the Treetops are geared towards affording easy game viewing and photography.
Overnight: Treetops Lodge -
Meals FB: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Distance: Amboseli – Aberdares: 430 km / 4.5 hours.

Day 4 – Ark / Lake Nakuru.
After breakfast at the Treetops you rejoin your driver guide and drive through the floor of Great Rift Valley to arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Lunch and leisurely afternoon before enjoying scheduled evening game drive.
Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its abundant birdlife. The Park offers a great chance to see thousands of greater & lesser flamingoes, pelicans around the shores of the lake alongside abundant mammals that include endangered rothchild giraffe, black & white rhino, buffaloes, waterbuck, elands, zebras among other species.
Overnight: Carnelleys Camp –
Meals FB: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Distance: Ark – Lake Nakuru: 20 km / 2.5 hours.

Day 5 - Lake Naivasha / Hells Gate / Maasai Mara.
Breakfast and depart for Hells gate 2 hours guided tour into the gorge which is characterized by diverse topography and geological scenery. It is an important home of the lammergeyer (The Bearded Vulture). Afterwards drive through the floor of the Great Rift Valley arriving Maasai Mara stopping enroute at Narok Town for hot Lunch. You will arrive in Masai mara in the evening for your scheduled evening game drive. Maasai Mara Reserve is the most popular reserve known for the big skies, open savannahs as featured in the film ''Out of Africa''. Also accorded the status of the seventh wonder of the world because of the annual wildebeest migration, where over 2 millions of wildebeest cross from Serengeti to the Mara. Besides these the reserve boasts of the ''big five'' (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion & leopard) plus plenty of plain wild animals that include zebra, giraffe, impala, topi, giraffe, thomson's gazelle, hyenas, cheetah, jackal, bat-eared foxes and birdlife. No wonder it is the shooting sight for BBC Big Cat Diary every year.
Overnight: Ilkeliai Mara Camp - 
Meals FB: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Distance: Lake Nakuru / Maasai Mara: 350 km / 5.5 hours.

Day 6 - Maasai Mara Full Day.
Today you will do a full day's safari in one of the world's most famous reserves. You will drive to the Mara river where the annual wildebeest migration spectacle will be happening. Maasai Mara  offers an abundance of herbivores, this makes the ideal hunting ground for Kenya's famous ‘big cats' and hosts her largest population of lions. Historically teeming with wildlife, the Mara is famous for the large herds of elephant and buffalo that wander its plains, and for the annual migration of the wildebeest.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Overnight: Ilkeliani Mara Camp - 

Day 7 - Maasai Mara / Nairobi.
Today wake up early for morning game drive and amazing Africa sunrise before returning to the camp for full breakfast and check out. Afterwards we descent down to the great rift valley stopping at the great rift valley view point to arrive in the afternoon at the end of your safari.
